Welcome to my website!
I am an economist working at Moody’s Local and at the Economics Department of the University of Costa Rica.
I graduated as PhD in Development Economics at The Ohio State University in 2015. My dissertation work focused on food security, particularly on the determinants of global food price volatility, and on the role of grain buffer stocks as a tool to hedge against price volatility.
My areas of interest include finance, development economics, macroeconomics, computational economics, econometrics, and income inequality.
In this website you can find my CV, some of my research work and presentations, as well as some code that might be useful to fellow researchers.
I can be reached by email at [email protected].
